Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 1/24/18

Oh no I almost forgot the newsletter! Better late than never…

Hello everyone. We have a little bit of a bigger menu this week. For you Metal Heads still trying to get your hands on all the Dark Nights tie-ins, we will have a bunch of the earlier books back in stock this week. As for new books, for my money, the pick this week is Abbot #1 by Saladin Ahmed and Sami Kivela. Ahmed is an award-winning novelist, but you you might know his writing from the critically acclaimed Black Bolt series currently coming out from Marvel. I rustled up a preview here, if you want to take a look.

On the trade side, we have a new printing for Alan Grant and Keith Giffen’s original Lobo series, another comic adaptation of a Neil Gaiman short story, and a comprehensive collection of Scott Morse’s Soulwind series which I’ve head of but never read. There’s a pretty cool interview with Morse about the new Soulwind collection here with a few pieces of artwork too.

Lastly, for those of you with Netlfix, they have a limited series adaptation of Charles Forsman’s comic, The End of The Fucking World and I thought it was pretty great. I’d say come in and check the book out as well, but unfortunately it’s out of print right now. Hopefully with the popularity of the show, they can have some available again soon.

See you at the bottom…
