Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 1/25/17

Hello!  Did everyone see the new trailers for Logan and Power Rangers? They both look awesome (in completely different ways of course)! Let's talk some comics!  Fans of Southern Bastards should take note of our Deal of the Week Loose Ends, written by Jason Latour. I'm also pretty excited for the first issue of The Kamandi Challenge; sounds like it's going to be a blast!

On the graphic novel front, I'm pretty excited to see Jack Kirby's seminal Fantastic Four work immortalized in Artist Edition format!  In other reprint news, check out Checkmate (see what I did there?) by Greg Rucka Vol 01 TP for an underrated and under-the-radar from the post-Infinite Crisis era of DC.

On a more personal note, I (Max) am in a band (Half Past Two) and we're playing a FREE show tomorrow night in Fullerton!  Even if you can't make it, please give us a listen (most of our music is free!) and give us a "Like" on Facebook. Links below:

Loose Ends #1 Deal of the Week 50% OFF!
(W) Jason Latour (A/CA) Chris Brunner, Rico Renzi

No one seemed to notice Sonny Gibson as he stepped back into "The Hideaway," a dusty little honky-tonk nestled off the Carolina highway. But before the night was over, Sonny would be on the run-from the law, from the criminals, even from himself. LOOSE ENDS is a gritty, slow-cooked, Southern crime romance that follows a winding trail down Tobacco Road, through the war-torn streets of Baghdad, and into the bright lights and bloody gutters of South Florida. From JASON LATOUR, the Eisner-winning co-creator of SOUTHERN BASTARDS and the writer of Spider-Gwen, CHRIS BRUNNER (SOUTHERN BASTARDS, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight), and RICO RENZI (Spider-Gwen, Squirrel Girl).

Each issue will end with an unimaginable cliffhanger, and it's up to the next creative team to resolve it before creating their own. It's a challenge worthy of "The King" himself! In this premiere issue, the Last Boy on Earth is dragged from his safe haven by a group of tigers, only to face the nightmarish threat of the ultimate weapon!
