Hello everyone! Hooo boy there are a lot of new series this week. They all look interesting! It feels like everyone has been waiting forever for Geoff Johns to get back to Shazam after a pretty solid reintroduction of the character with Gary Frank in the New 52 era. I am especially pleased that DC is continuing to roll out these 12 issue max-series that focus on a particular character. Mister Miracle might have been my favorite comic this year. Here’s to hoping this Martian Manhunter series provides another self-contained character study. Killmonger is my favorite villain from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I really dig Juan Ferreyra’s art so I’ll give that a whirl as well. Yay comics! See you at the bottom…
