Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 2/3/16

Hello everyone. Lot’s of stuff to cover today! This week is chalk full of exciting new graphic novel releases including new Lumberjanes, Manhattan Projects, Black Science, and the trade paperback release of 2015’s Bizarro series! We will be celebrating the book’s release at the Culver City location by hosting the series’ writer, Heath Corson. Mr Corson is also responsible for writing the Suicide Squad themed DC animated movie, Batman Assault on Arkham!

This week we are also beginning a February sale at both stores on select Marvel omnibuses for 50% off the cover price! At the Culver City store, both our resident book clubs are meeting in the back half of the month. Check below for more details.

And finally, some of you may be aware that I (along with my colleague) have been futzing around with comic book content on Youtube for a little while now (just finished recording the audio for a Metabarons video last night!). I didn’t want to go out of my way to publicize it until we had a fair amount of content. Well, it’s been about a year now since our first project and we also just launched a website (welcome to 1999!). I’d like to humbly plug Alpharookie.com as well as our Youtube page. If you feel like giving us feedback or requests in the comments we would really appreciate it. Thank you very much for reading my plug!

See you at the bottom…
