Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 3/18

This week’s newsletter overfloweth! There are a ton of new books on Wednesday, including cool stuff I couldn’t fit in here! Be sure to click here to see a comprehensive list.  As for the highlights, we have a deal of the week quadruple-header with 3 hot new Image titles and a new addition to the Mignola-verse! I actually read preview PDFs of Chrononauts, Red One, and Invisible Republic; I think Image is three for three this week, but check out what they’re about to see what suits your style. As for Frankenstein Underground, if it’s Mike Mignola, it’s a must-read for me!

There are a few other interesting new series this week as well including the re-launch of Manhattan Projects for those of you that looking for a good jump on point. Speaking of jump on points, if you’ve read the first collection of Outcast and you liked it, you can jump on to the monthly book this week with issue #7. If you’re a Cronenberg aficionado, you may want to take a look at The Fly Outbreak and Giant Days also looks like a promising new title from an up-and-coming web comic artist.  On the “Big Two” side, Batman Eternal wraps up it’s first “season” with issue #50,the Batgirl Endgame tie-in is drawn by international superstar artist Bengal, and Amazing Spider-Man begins it’s big “Spiral” storyline!

On the trade side, it’s pretty clear Avengers: Age of Ultron is coming out soon because Marvel’s dropping not one, but TWO new Avengers omnibusesBusiek/Perez fans should be pleased since a lot of their collected Avengers run has been in out of print for a while now. And if that wasn’t enough for Marvel, they’re also releasing the second trade paperback for runaway hit, Ms Marvel! Whew…that’s enough…see you at the bottom…
