Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 4/4/18

Happy Monday! We have a super cool week lined up, but first…due to a shipping snafu, there were some missing Marvel and DC titles from last week that we will have this Wednesday. If they’re on your pull list, they’ll still go into your box like normal. For everyone else, we’ll have them on the wall with all the other new releases this week.

Take a look at the events below. In addition to the upcoming Kickstarter class with Madeleine Holly-Rosing at Culver this month, there are two new upcoming classes with Jim Higgins as well.

As for books, there’s the beginning of DC’s Deathstroke and Batman showdown and Miller’s return to his…300-verse? If anyone wants to know what I think the hot book this week is, it’s Isola. I’ve since fallen in love with Karl Kerschel’s artwork after burning through The Abominable Charles Christopher. The pages I’ve seen from Isola look fantastic.

On the trade side, I’d like to point out the first trade for Redlands. I’ve been banging the drum for that book since it started. Jordie Bellaire and Vanesa Del Rey are crafting a dark, moody, and sexy book that should make horror heads swoon. That’s it for me! See you at the bottom…

DC Entertainment has revealed details of its new imprint, Black Label, which will launch in August with non-continuity projects by a stellar creative line-up.

The imprint will open with the following titles:
