Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 5/2/18

Happy Monday! Big week! Free Comic Book Day is almost upon us! For us, it’s the biggest day of the year and we’ll hope you come out to celebrate with us. I’ve seen all the goodies and there’s tons of cool stuff this year. We’re continuing our tradition of coordinating with the LA Food Bank which means everyone gets one free comic for coming, BUT you can bring home more if you bring canned food or cash donations!

The Culver store has even more special stuff in store including guests Joshua Hauke (Tales of the Brothers Three) and Adam Rose (Playground: Attack of the Gurgle Bots). You can check out Joshua’s book at www.brothers3comics.com and follow him on Twitter at @MortimerJMoose. You can check out a review for Adam’s book at ThePullbox.com. Adam also plans to have special crossword puzzles for the kids! This year, the Culver location is also coordinating with Harajuku Taproom, just down the street at 4410 Sepulveda. In support of Free Comic Book Day, the Harajuku Taproom  will be offering a 10% discount off your meal on Saturday between noon and 5. Just show your server your Free Comic Book to receive your discount.

But before we even get to FCBD, we have a huge relaunch of The Avengers! You just saw Infinity War! You’re hyped! You need…SOMETHING! This is it. Jason Aaron and Ed McGuiness together with an all-star lineup of characters. I know I’m quite the little jaded superhero comic boy, but even I have to make time for this one.
