Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 6/17/15

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a good weekend and are ready for another round of deals. Only 12 this week so just a small dip from last week. Fight Club 2 was the mostrequested book by far for the last couple weeks, but we’ll have more this Wednesday, as well as back issues for Sandman Overture. Besides the slew of half off DC and Secret Wars books, there’s a new book called The Fiction out this Wednesday I’m excited for because of the artist: David Rubin. He’s a Spanish artist whose stuff is finally making it’s way here to the states and I think he’s pretty great. My introduction was a graphic novel from a couple weeks ago called The Hero (we’re sold out, but we’ll have more soon) in which he retells the story of Hercules. Definitely worth checking out. Also this week is a new Mad Max comic! Witness! The last one sold out multiple times and had two printings, so don’t miss the boat. On the trade side, Daniel Clowes fans get a handsome, comprehensive collection, and sci-fi western fans get another Image series in Drifter.

In store news, used graphic novels (50-90% off) and dollar comics make their much-anticipated return to Pulp Fiction Long Beach! Also, the Culver City store will be hosting comic writer Key Symons this Wednesday to help him promote the release of his Image trade, Reyn. See you at the bottom…
