Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 8/10/16

I’m back and comics are still a thing! I had enough down time to catch up with Guerillas, read all of Sweet Tooth, and the first half of Rachel Rising. All great books! Highly recommended! I have a couple bits of Culver City news. First, the store has been rearranged (yes Mike, again). Basically the international and non-genre graphic novel sections have joined the rest of the indie books near the back wall so you’ll have to walk a few extra feet to find your Jodorowsky and Clowes. Also, the phone is fixed! Apologizes to anyone trying to get us on the line the last few days.

We have a bunch of deals of the week this Wednesday including a new book by John Hickman, the beginning of a hot new Spider-Man story, and Deathstroke by Christopher Priest of Black Panther/Quantum and Woody fame. This week we also get the first issue of Scott Snyder’s new Batman book, All Star Batman (not to be confused with Miller and Lee’s All Star Batman and Robin) AND The Accused, featuring the trial of Clint Barton!

It’s a light week for graphic novels, but we are getting the second volume of Injection, one of my favorite ongoing series. Looking forward to seeing everyone this week! See you at the bottom…
