Pulp Fiction Newsletter Week of 9/2/15

Hey guys! Lots of cool stuff this week including 3 deals of the week. We have the new Image book written by Jeff Lemire (Descender, Essex County) called Plutona #1. From the description and

the preview it sounds like Stand by Me if the body belonged to Wonder Woman. Sounds neat and the art looks great. Then we have Toil and Trouble #1 which looks to tell the story of Macbeth from the witches perspective, but more from a Scottish folklore angle rather than a Wicked by way of Shakespeare kind of thing. Finally we’re doing a deal on the first reprinted issue of Neil Gaiman’s unfinished Miracleman run.

On the trade side, we have some exciting reprints of Brian Michael Bendis’ Alias series (soon to be a Netflix TV series), John Ostrander’s original Suicide Squad run, and a great little Aliens story by Dave Gibbons and Mike Mignola.  Thsi week we also get collections for two hot books we just couldn’t keep on the shelf when they were coming out monthly: Lady Killer and Mad Max Fury Road.

Be sure to check out the upcoming events below as that’s been pretty empty for a little while and there’s a few things back on the docket. See you at the bottom…
